Donate to Aid Adriel's NICU Battle

Hey guys!! First, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to read this and see what it's about!

One of my best friends, Reanna and her boyfriend Gerardo recently announced their pregnancy. Super shortly after finding out they were having a boy, Reanna was admitted into the hospital with complications. On February 20th at 11:11 PM, their son Adriel was born at the gestational age of only 23 weeks and 2 days. He was born 1 pound and 5 ounces. Reanna and Gerardo have a really long journey of ups and downs over the next 4 months as he grows in the NICU facing many challenges. He is such a fighter and is currently trying to heal from a grade 4 brain bleed in both sides of his brain, and waiting for future tests to tell us what his developmental delays will be. His providers currently have him labeled as critical but stable. He is on a ventilator for now because he also had bleeding in his lungs at 2 days old, but as of the 25th, his X-rays showed improvement of his lungs!!!!

We are asking for donations during this difficult time because, as you could probably imagine, this is not only an extremely difficult time for them emotionally but financially as well. They will be going from a 2-income family to a 1-income family until Reanna is cleared to go back to work. Even when she is cleared to go back, Adriel will not have been able to leave the hospital yet. Gerardo works full time and cannot take any more time off at the moment due to their situation. Reanna has been having to take the bus/Uber/Lyft to see Adriel in the hospital when Gerardo has to use their car for work. Because he came so early, they will have things they will need to get still, and they are needing to upgrade their residence so that baby Adriel has somewhere to go when he gets out! Any donations generously given will all go towards bills, lodging closer to the medical center for those long bad days they will face, food, travel to and from the hospital, and any care items they will need for him once he comes home.

Thank you again for reading! We completely understand if you can't donate or donate much; anything helps, even just sharing this to spread the word!
