Hello!

My best friend recently took in her elderly father. Her father is an Army veteran and has been battling cancer since 2020. In addition to his battle with cancer he has the early stages of dementia. He showed up needing her help with only his vehicle and the clothes on his back. This man worked two jobs as a single dad for his two kids and now his daughter needs help being able to take on caring for him. Funding for essential care items is what is needed. He needs clothing, toiletries and basic living supplies. Any help is greatly appreciated being able to give back to someone who desperately needs it. In addition if anyone has any resources and groups in the Austin,TX area that would be helpful for an elderly veteran please pass information along.
