Hello,
I don't even know where to start. I didn't think I would ever need to do something like this for my family.
My son, and his family were all involved in the deadly Tesla car accident that happened on June 30, around 8 pm on the 805 freeway near Telegraph Canyon Road.
A red Tesla driving more than 100 mph struck a motorcycle rider and sadly killed him, and then proceeded to hit my son from behind in his truck as he was traveling to Chula Vista with his family. Thankfully, they are all okay—minor cuts, scrapes, stitches, bruises, and of course totally banged up, but God and their angels were totally watching over them.
As you see in these pictures, my son's truck is totaled and unfortunately, because this is an ongoing criminal investigation, nothing can be done via insurance, etc., until the report is completed, and that could possibly take up to six months. Therefore, he is without transportation to and from work and is depending on family and friends, which we don't mind. But as a mom, I need to somehow, someway help him and his family with some of this stress and be able to raise some money for a vehicle for him for now and to cover the medical bills they have endured during this time. They both had to take some time off of work due to injuries but had to get back to work in order to live.
We do hope that once the investigation is over, the insurance can help them, but they are in a bind right now.
The driver of the Tesla that hit them is being charged with murder and six counts of assault with a deadly weapon, which is for my son and his family. The Tesla driver admitted he purposely hit the motorcyclist. Who does that? Thank you for reading. I have linked the news article below as well.
