Donate to Aid a Family Facing Leukemia

Hi everyone,
One of our colleagues is going through an incredibly difficult time and desperately needs our support.
The employee, who wishes to remain anonymous, had their world flipped upside down when their fiancé was diagnosed with Leukemia last December. Since then, he has been in and out of the hospital undergoing various intense treatments including radiation, dialysis, and a port placement procedure for chemotherapy.
Unfortunately, to add on to all of this, our colleague’s fiancé had an adverse reaction to one of the chemotherapies – it damaged his kidneys, causing them to fail. Now, the course of his treatment has expanded and changed to try to reverse that damage and cure his cancer. Not surprisingly, he has been out of work because of these challenges, and our colleague has also had to take time off to support him during treatments and appointments while maintaining their household and caring for their children.
Now, it’s our time to help. The HomeServe Cares Foundation is launching a two-week Helping Hands campaign to support our colleague during this difficult time. Starting today, Wednesday, April 9 through Wednesday, April 23, the HomeServe Cares Foundation will match 100% of employee donations. Please considering donating if you are able. And please join us in sending positive thoughts to our colleague and family as they fight this battle.
