Adreanna's Fight for Remission

Two days after the unexpected passing of her father, Brian Zemba, Adreanna [20] noticed an unsettling swelling on the left side of her neck. Her family promptly took her to the emergency room, where she was referred to the Siedman Cancer Center the following morning. Initially feeling that the ER staff may have overreacted, Adreanna attended her scheduled appointment. The devastating news was revealed to her already grieving family - Adreanna had cancer that had spread throughout her neck and chest, requiring immediate chemotherapy. The nurse explained that Adreanna would have to attend appointments almost daily for the next few weeks to start her treatment plan. While dealing with the loss of her father and arranging his Celebration of Life, Adreanna found herself constantly in and out of the hospital, visiting various doctors for her lungs, heart, fertility, and more.
