Hey everyone, this fundraiser was put on by some of Addy’s close friends and family. We have been witnesses to her struggle fighting type one diabetes, celiac, and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. But this week Addy has had to fight even harder. 

Addy is a senior at Pike Liberal Arts School in Troy, Alabama. She moved here in early March. Addy is used to change as she has been to 10 schools in her life and 3 of those being high schools. Due to these complications, Addy has been in the hospital 4 times already this year and 10 times in 2020. This is the first time here in Troy where she had to be admitted. Sadly, Troy is not equipped to handle her level of care and required her to go to Birmingham. Since an ambulance would take too long and she needed to be moved quickly, they took her to Children's of Alabama on a medevac airplane. The cost of all of these visits and this past travel has had an effect on the family. Most transports like this cost anywhere from $20,000-$50,000 and they don’t know if insurance will cover it. Please help Addy as well as the Meadows family in this hard time.
