Are you looking to be a part of a worthy cause?
My 12-year-old son, Aaron, is a gifted pianist. He has been taking lessons since he was 6 and has been composing his own music since he was 7. He's a true opportunist when it comes to playing on a piano anywhere, anytime.
He was chosen to be in Menifee's Got Talent, playing one of his pieces.
He has a few videos on YouTube and Instagram you can watch.
He is still taking lessons and is now composing music that has far advanced from where he began. He continues to learn classical theory concepts. His teachers and random listeners see that he has a gift. The problem is that the piano we have is not worthy of his talent and it is holding him back. Even our piano tuner mentioned that our piano is not worth tuning for him. It's literally falling apart.
We are big believers in crowdfunding. There is power in what we can do together as a community that we sometimes can't do alone. Unfortunately, there is no room in our family budget for a quality piano. To finance one at this point, we would need a big down payment and the credit scores to be able to qualify for a loan, which our wallets and scores do not dictate at this time.
In the last year, we have donated to many worthy causes: to our friends' kids' schools, fundraisers, family members, neighbors and even funerals of people we did not know, breast cancer events, American Cancer Society, St. Jude's, Cub Scout fundraising, Knights of Columbus, Girl Scout Cookies and even cookie dough!
We want to raise $16,900 for Aaron's piano of choice. He really needs a decent quality piano and one that will last him for years to come. He needs and sincerely wants something worthy of his love and passion for classical music and piano! This is the one he chose without looking at the price. This is a pre-owned piano and believe it or not, upper mid-grade. It comes with a warranty, delivery, and a first tuning from a reputable store. Please help Aaron reach his goal. Maybe a philanthropist, a foundation or fellow pianist could help his vision become his reality.

We are planning fundraising events soon where you can come meet us and buy plants, bring recyclables, and eat some good food.
