Aaron is a boy’s name of Hebrew and Egyptian origin, meaning “mountain of strength," "exalted," "strong,” and even "warrior lion." And to say Aaron Hall is living up to the meaning of his name is an understatement. This handsome, brave dude was recently admitted into the ICU, and after a CT scan and 3 MRI's, he was diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation in his brain. AVM is a rare, tangled cluster of abnormal blood vessels that connect arteries directly to veins, bypassing capillaries. Two different panels of doctors (which included a Pediatric Neurosurgeon, Vascular Neurosurgeon and an Oncologist/Radiologist) decided that due to the size (6 cm x 6 cm - the size of a small avocado) and location of the AVM (Basal Thalamus), surgery is not an option. He should be doing what he loves: boy scouts, playing soccer, lacrosse, and of course...video games. He shouldn’t have to have radiation, MRIs, and trips to the ER. No one can prepare for the unexpected, so I’m hoping friends and family of the Halls can all show support by donating whatever they can to help with the medical bills they are facing for the years to come. Brandon and Stacy are already carrying the burden of seeing their young son face something no child should, so let’s help take the financial burden off their shoulders.
