Help Mona, a pregnant mother, to leave Gaza

Hello, my name is Mona Samir, a pregnant woman from Gaza. I’m here to share my family’s story and the dire situation I am living in Gaza as a pregnant woman. I have 3 children and my husband is a cancer survivor. Life was never easy before, but with love and hope, we always managed to maintain a simple and enjoyable life and live through life challenges patiently. Unfortunately, everything has changed drastically due to the war.

As a 6-month pregnant woman, I have no access to any medical assistance whatsoever because almost all of the hospitals and healthcare facilities are out of service now in Gaza.

I keep thinking of myself giving birth in Gaza without any help from the medical staff and with shortage of almost all medicines that are needed to give birth. I am also thinking of my coming newborn and how I can provide food and all needs for a newborn at a time that we are struggling to provide for our kids.

For the past five months, we have faced continuous fear and displacement with no sources of income. Additionally, we are experiencing a lack of access to clean food and water and cancer medicine for my husband.

Why I need donation of $20000?

My goal is to collect enough donations to be able to get out of Gaza by paying for a safe exit for my family. I am trying to leave Gaza before my due date so I can give birth in a safe place. The price to cross the border in Rafah is $5500 per adult and 2600 per child and we are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids.
