Hi! We’re Milan, Kaleabe, and Luka, and we have recently been training for a triathlon to raise money for 826LA, a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles. 826LA works towards a Los Angeles where every student has access to empowering creative writing education, and one where teachers are supported in their writing-based educational objectives. By facilitating after-school workshops, one-on-one tutoring, and providing support to educators, 826LA is inspiring students in the most important foundation: the written word.

We’re so excited about this. From the early morning bike rides to getting over our fear of sharks, to donning so much reflective gear for the night runs that you could see us from the space station, this process has been a privilege. The idea of achieving this goal in support of 826LA inspires us. Thank you for your support, and we’re looking forward to October 20th at the CalTri LA race!
