Donate to Secured Housing Against Eviction

I live in Colorado. This is my story.

I’m asking for $3,500 in donations. This is hard for me and I understand that there are others in need just as much as I am. All I need is a helping hand up not a hand out. Once I get ahead I’ll be paying it forward.

I lost my husband on 7/6/24 due to illness. We’d been together for 50 years. We had been living off of both of our Social Security for a while. I’ve been retired since 2016. I’ve fallen on hard times with just my Social Security.

I’m in danger of loosing a place to live with an eviction notice looming over my head, I’ve paid lot rent religiously up until now. I’ve also paid my mortgage religiously since 2002, I have 5 more years to pay off. Your support will make a big difference for my well-being, financially and mentally.

My goal is to have enough money for the next two months to cover most of the household bills, also for groceries and gas for doctors’ appointments, etc.

Your donation will make a noticeable difference, your donation will help in paying the lot rent, vehicle insurance, utility bills and homeowners’ insurance. I’ll be accepting small amounts of what is affordable $10.00 and up, that will go a long way.

I thought I knew about financial literacy better than my husband, at least. If you have any time to check with me to learn more about taking charge of finances, I’ll keep an open mind. If you have any questions, I’m willing to meet face-to-face locally.
