We are asking for donations as my sister, Katie, fights thyroid cancer while juggling life as a new mother.

Katie always wanted children, and after years of infertility, she and her husband were finally blessed with a healthy, happy, baby girl in 2024. But eight months later, her doctors discovered thyroid cancer that spread to her lymph nodes. She is currently undergoing surgery to remove her thyroid, parathyroid glands, and infected lymph nodes before she begins radiation.

Our goal is $10,000, which would cover Katie’s surgery, her radiation treatments, and the two previous surgical biopsies she already undergone. Anything you can donate will make all the difference. It will help with medical bills and keep the Hunter household afloat as Katie will miss weeks of work and Kevin is reducing his work hours to care for Alice.
