I am a disabled veteran and musician who has two devices I need help patenting and donating to hospitals and schools free of charge to assist disabled musicians in regaining their musical ability. This requires me to travel, and I am seeking help in that area. I need to travel from New York to Los Angeles to meet with two people who can help make this happen, as my first choice of a sponsor was a huge dud and wasted every resource I have and ruined my finances permanently.
I came up with one modification for a specific instrument nearly twenty years ago and the other 15 years ago. I, myself, became disabled during military duty in 2005 after a lifetime of working up to three jobs at a time including the military for little pay. So my own survival had been my main focus until 2023.
In 2023 I came up with something I could trade for help from, I thought, only the one specific person I initially approached but I see now there was another that could help. Plus a possible third person. And all require me to travel to Los Angeles from New York using only public transportation which is VERY hard when a person is disabled. I do not own a car.
Very much complicating the issue is that I already tried reaching out to SETH MACFARLANE. Several times. The last time I took out two new credit cards to try and meet with him, credit cards I now cannot pay back at all.
Yes, I actually went to Las Vegas on New Year's Eve 2024, after getting zero responses from Seth MacFarlane and his entire Fuzzy Door staff. I was treated by them all as though I do not exist just because I am not a Hollywood matinee star that Seth wants to have sex with. No imperfect people allowed in his world.
This was a desperate last-minute move in order to place myself in a position for Seth to talk to me without him coming to New York or me having to go all the way to Los Angeles. I could not afford proper lodging or food during my trip as well, but I knew I'd have to go then or never - so I did it. I took a HUGE leap of faith because I believe in this cause - helping disabled musicians regain their musical souls after injuries/disability through special adaptive instruments.
If I had gotten just ONE response from Seth MacFarlane, or his staff, even a negative answer, that would have then freed me to utilize my meager resources to try to reach someone other than him, rather than keep trying to rely on a person who did not care and is quite clearly afraid to say so for fear it might ruin his image. Instead, I ended up in the ER in Las Vegas in severe pain because my disabilities worsened.
Yes, a disabled veteran living on food stamps tried to make things easier for a guy who jets around wherever he wants in his private jet. And truthfully, I was such a huge fan, too. Now, after seeing the dead look in Seth's eyes in Las Vegas, it just makes me sick. No smiles, no warmth - nothing at all. He's a better actor than everyone thinks.
I endured so much hardship and hatred during the course of my travel to meet a guy who is a huge phony and does not care about people at all, to the extent of not even answering several letters and yes, direct emails to both Seth individually and to his whole staff - Erica Huggins, Joy Fehily, et al, that now I don't even want to go out anymore and face being treated the way Seth and everyone treats an obviously physically disabled woman.
At one point I got a "Hey, buddy!" direct message from Seth's bluesky account (@sethmacfarlane01.bsky.social) then suddenly he shut it down and started a new one (which he shut down after I made this donation page) so all my posts to him and his personal message to me, most importantly, all disappeared. I had only partially and briefly described my hellish trip to Las Vegas to him, too, in the dm back. He actually direct messaged me while I was in the airport LEAVING Las Vegas because he couldn't spare 5 minutes while we were both there. One line, then deletes his account. And yes, I am still suffering health issues and expect to have my electricity cut off as I slowly starve now because of money I wasted thinking he cared.
I simply cannot afford to live any longer and want my legacy to be that I was able to improve the lives of disabled and injured musicians through getting specialized adaptive musican instruments patented and donated to hospitals and schools for disabled children and adults.
I just want to get these devices out there so they can benefit people. This is my sole contribution. And I was going to give Seth MacFarlane the patents, too. That was part of the deal.
The other things I have to trade, as I am NOT going to Los Angeles with my hand out, trying to get something for nothing, could also benefit Seth's friend, SCOTT GRIMES. He is in Los Angeles.
Also in Los Angeles is HERB ALPERT, one of my all time favorite musicians. He has foundations to help children and the arts (while Seth, quite tellingly, does not). Herb would do it with nothing from me, because he actually does care.
And of course Scott Grimes is a musician and singer as well as having lots of support and respect in the veteran community due to his role in Band of Brothers. So, as I do have something of benefit for Scott Grimes as well, I am seeking him out and Herb Alpert, too.
I don't know why Seth MacFarlane and his entire staff are so rude and dismissive of people, but I am certainly hoping Scott Grimes is not. But I do know I must get to Los Angeles and make the deal to get the instruments into production and ready for donations before I die. I must go west. And yes, the donations from this campaign will cost me my Medicaid and food stamps because I cannot have any money but I don't care, this cause is too important to me. IT IS MY LIFE NOW.
PLEASE HELP MY DREAM OF 15+ YEARS, MY DREAM OF IMPROVING LIFE FOR OTHER DISABLED MUSICIANS, COME TRUE. HELP ME GET TO LOS ANGELES, FROM NEW YORK, TO SPEAK TO SCOTT GRIMES AND HERB ALPERT SO I CAN IMPROVE, AND PERHAPS EVEN SAVE, THE LIVES OF MUSICIANS WHO THINK THEY CAN NO LONGER EXPRESS AND SHARE THEIR MUSICAL HEARTS DUE TO DISABILITY AND INJURY.
And P.S. - I reached out to Seth's friend DOLLY PARTON, and got my email response within 24 hours. Nothing promised, but this genuine, gracious person actually RESPONDS and thanks you, acknowledging that you, as a person, cared enough to reach out to her first. Too bad Seth does not have the same class as Dolly and most likely Frank Sinatra, his big hero, too. And her team also responded back within 24 hours after I sent her the link to this fundraiser.
