Imagine your life-changing in an instant: one day, you’re playing football in the backyard with your son, and the next, doctors are telling you you’ll be paralyzed for life.
This is the story of my beloved friend Wydell Robinson. Wydell had a horrific accident on October 1st of, 2020, almost 5 years ago, that left him paralyzed. Wydell is only twenty-six years old and has a 6-year-old son to care for.
Today I’m telling you Wydell’s story not because it is only a tragedy but because, with your help, there is still much hope in his life.
Wydell has not had the financial resources to pursue regular therapy, or get medical treatment that he has needed for a long time...but there is good news: Wydell has now been given an incredible opportunity to participate in Project Walk, a physical therapy program that could change his life.
Wydell has two major needs:
● Transportation to get him to his medical appointments; and
● Financial aid for regular physical therapy (2 times per week) and important doctor’s visits, at home care, depositories, medical supplies and medicine.
Wydell cannot walk or move, and he is confined to one room. He struggles not only with pain and dizziness but also to keep hope since, for almost 5 years, he hasn’t had the financial resources that could get his life back on track.
Today I invite you to please consider helping Wydell in any way you can! Any donation amount helps, however small. I also invite you to be the Good Samaritan and share this video with your family, friends, and coworkers. It would mean the world to Wydell, his son, and his mother. From the bottom of my heart – thank you!
