A man's lot in life doesn't always have to be a static setting but many times it can last longer than what they desire !

That's the case for Bob and Ruby!!

We are raising funds because finally after five years they have a path into a place to live as soon as April 2025!!

The funds raised are to be used to secure first month and security, additional months rent until Early Social Security will begin late Summer. Additionally there is some needed dental work, automotive registration and repairs needed.

There has been five excruciating years of struggle: financial, emotional and mental that all began with a World Pandemic in 2020 and and an unlucky household move timing wise that led him and his dog out in the streets as the Pandemic unraveled all our lives.

In their case this has led them to the streets, the woods, the campgrounds, a church, couches and spare parking spots. Two trucks two truck campers a pull behind camper and a tent over the five years over three states.

State wait-list extend into years, many voucher programs remain unfunded and emergency shelters never had room. He's survived by grit, resiliency and mental and physical strength. No running water, many times no electricity starting the pandemic on two stacks of wood pallets with the first truck camper placed on top.

Hurricanes, thunder and rain, snow and ice. They have been able to battle and win, but in the past two years both a hip and knee injury has seriously affected his ability to have the breakwater needed to keep him and his dog safe and medical attention needs could immediately be addressed now that they have arrived at the top of the list from a wonderful non profit landlord in Maine.
