I’m requesting unlimited prayers and support to cover a second life saving emergency surgery for an re-occurrence of ovarian cancer. Some of you may already follow my story. I was diagnosed with metastasized germ cell and epithelial ovarian cancer in 2010 at 28, had an emergency surgery and survived. I underwent aggressive BEP chemotherapy (3 chemos). 15 years have past and I find myself re-diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I’ve had ample time to think about this reasonably and logically. My wishes are to undergo an immediate surgery to remove everything in an attempt to save my life. I intend to have the surgery in Mexico, out-of-pocket, due to the lack of medical infrastructure and the fact that it’s going to take me 6 months to 1 year to get in to have a surgery back in this the U.S. via disability/medicare. I am actively in a disability review. I have already made the decision not to undertake chemotherapy again, as my body is not as strong as it was at 28. All of this is to help offset the costs of the surgery that I need now, before Christmas. Time is of the essence, a luxury I don’t have. I do not have the luxury of being a coward. I have three masses, one non-cancerous and two cancerous. If I’m unable to raise the funds needed, then I will shift my focus on my quality of my life for the remaining time I have. That is my wish.
