Hi, my name is Ilya (Eli). I'm raising money to help my best friend's family with funeral costs. Eugene was my best friend and my brother. He was an amazing person with a heart of gold, someone you could always call on in the time of need and could count on him to be there, he'd always show up, sometimes late , but he'd always be there. He was a true definition of a brother, besides our little brotherly quarrels at the end of the day we would always hug, apologize and make up, because he was an easy going and a forgiving person who took things too close to heart and cared about everything and everyone. I've watched him struggle with this disease for a very long time. He would get knocked down and he would get back up. What mattered the most is that he never gave up the fight and always kept getting up. His fight is finally over and he is finally at peace with the creator! May his soul for eternity rest in peace. I love you little brother! You will always be missed!
