Donate in the memory of Dan Leathers

In 2022 we sadly lost one of our much loved friends Dan Leathers in an accident. Dan was such a lovely person, he always lit up the room and he made my day when he came into the pub.

I grew up with Dan in school and always loved him and his sister Lily. As we both moved schools and grew up we lost touch until the summer of 2022 when he came into the pub we own and we were like omg it’s you!

We had a much overdue catch up and always kept in touch through messaging. He was honestly one of the best people I’ve ever met.

When he passed in December it was such a shock and so devastating to lose someone so young and who was so unbelievably kind. Dans family are bloody wonderful as well, he is a true credit to them.

I met Peter last year and he was friends with everyone I grew up with, and then we shared our mutual love for Dan.

Then roll on however many months later and the Run Norwich slots are opening and I stupidly suggested we did it, much to Peter’s dismay. Well now he loves running and I can’t go further than down the road before I feel like I’m going to collapse We decided to run for EAAA because they helped Dan, and we want to give back by raising money for such an amazing charity. We (mostly I) need all the encouragement we can get, your donations will push us even harder to get over that finishing line! Even if it’s a pound, anything will be greatly appreciated towards the charity.
