Hello, my name is Shawn Reiner and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend, Wesley Dejong Jr. On July 16th, Wesley passed away unexpectedly at his Parent's home in Hessel, MI. A teammate to some and a friend to many, Wesley was one of the most passionate and optimistic people I've ever met. There were no bad days when he was around, and it didn't matter if he faced more challenges than others; no matter the task, Wes always gave 100%.

What some may not know is that Wes' Father, Wes Sr, underwent a successful Liver transplant last week. This transplant had been long awaited, and when the phone rang on Thursday morning, Wes Sr and Susie drove to Detroit for the procedure. As his friends and family continue to grieve his loss, I'm honored to share that Wesley's legacy will live on as he opted to be an organ donor. To those who knew Wesley well, this shouldn't be a surprise as he would've done anything for anyone. Now it's our turn to do the same!

I ask that you please donate to relieve the family from the financial burden that death and unplanned procedures can bring. Plans are being made for a private funeral service (family) and a Celebration of Life that will be open to the public this Fall.
