Hi, I’m Blake and I’m fundraising money to help with funds for my little brother, Utah’s, celebration of life. Utah turned 18 on November 12, 2022 and unexpectedly passed away on February 2, 2023.

Utah was one of those charming people who everyone enjoyed being around. His smile was contagious, he was witty and loved a good joke. There was hardly a time he wasn’t trying to get someone to crack a smile. When there was awkward silence, he would always be there to say “Soooo how is everybody’s day going?.” During the time everyone would groan and be jokingly annoyed at this, but now I know we would do anything to hear it again. Utah and his three little brothers have only been a part of my family for a few years now, but during that time they all grew so close to my families hearts. Looking back, I can hardly imagine what life was like before they were apart of it. Utah became a father last February and named his baby boy Blake, after myself. Having someone look up to you so much in such a short time, enough for them to want to name their son after you is an extraordinary feeling. Utah adored his family and friends beyond belief and he deserved much more than this world gave him. I wouldn’t trade these last few years with him and his family for anything. There are truly no words to really express the heartbreak my family and I are feeling. If anyone would be willing to donate or just share a few kind words, my family and I would appreciate it.
