Northumbrian Water's Water Networks team are playing in a memorial football match on Friday 13th June in loving memory of Tony Redman who sadly passed away in October 2024 following a brave battle with cancer. During Tony's illness, he spent time with friends and family at Derwent Reservoir including partaking in charity walks to raise money for MacMillan and Cancer Research UK. The money raised will go towards purchasing a memorial bench at Derwent Reservoir for Tony's friends and family to visit and the remainder of the money will be donated to Cancer Research UK. The football match will take place at 13:30 on Friday 13th June at Ford Hub, Keelman's Lane, South Hylton, SR4 0RW and everyone is welcome. Any donations no matter how big or small are hugely appreciated by Tony's friends and family.
