As a friend of the family, I am saddened to announce the passing of Tim Heffner on October 28th, 2023, after dealing with many health issues that stemmed from a staph infection in his blood stream.

During his 3 month battle, Tim overcame sepsis, a stroke, & open heart surgery. Unfortunately, the infection came back and his heart was beyond repair. Over the last two weeks, Tim was at home surrounded by the people he loved and passed knowing how many people cared for him and his family.

If you ever had the pleasure to meet Tim, you were most likely met with a smile and some dad joke that managed to make you laugh. Tim and his wife Misty have opened their home to many of their children’s friends, and his impact as a father shined through to every single one. He was always a family man first, and is survived by his wife, four children, and six grandchildren.

Tim and Misty have been legal guardians of two of their grandchildren for some time now. Tim’s passing is devastating and leaves Misty to be a single parent to two elementary schoolers. The funeral costs, medical bills, and living costs all fall on the burden of Misty during this time of deep sadness and stress.
