Donate in memory of Terry "Stretch" Walton

Terry Wayne Walton, also known as "Stretch," the 7 foot gentle giant. He loved to smile and come up with new business ideas to provide a better life for himself and his sons. Some may know him as the neighborhood mechanic some as the tool man, and in his later years he became an RV salesman. His neighbors in the RV encampment near the 710 freeway would call him, a friend. He would go out of his way to help others and would share his meals with neighbors.

In 2017, Terry was beaten by a group of Culver City police officers. Which resulted in head aches, back injuries and PTSD. As a product of the PTSD, Terry would have depressive episodes, but it did not interfere with his loyalty to his family and friends.

The day before he passed away, he called his mother and sister in excruciating abdominal pain. His mom convinced him to go to the hospital where he was sent home without being examined. The following night, his neighbor called 911 after Terry was found on the lawn rolling in pain. He was taken to Long Beach Memorial Hospital where they did their best to revive him. On February 18, at 12:03am. Terry took his last breath.

We are asking for you support in laying Terry's body to rest. If you could find it in your heart to donate , the family would greatly appreciate your act of generosity.
