My name is Shannan Mu and I have started this go fund me page to help my son Jonah and his wife Angel-Rose Mu during this tragic time.

On 16 June 2026 the unimaginable happened and my beloved baby grandson passed away. Tāwhiao was 106 days old, and his passing was traumatic, sudden and unexpected.

On 26 June 2026 we laid baby Tāwhiao to rest. This was the most devastating day our family has endured. There was sadly a big financial commitment to this funeral so I am hoping this go fund me can raise funds to create some breathing space for my son to have some time with his family without having to return to work immediately. Every parent who has suffered the loss of a baby deserves to grieve without financial pressures.

The funds from this go fund me, will help to cover the cost of living which will allow Jonah and Angel-Rose the time to grieve with their older children by their side.
