My name is Shannon and we recently lost the one person who holds our family together and had held our family together for as long as I have been around. She was the glue, the strength, the love, and the one person I could always count on. Navigating life without her is going to be so unbelievably hard. I hate that my son will never get to know her the way that I did and will never know how much she really loved him. She was taken from us far too soon and I think a part of me will always be broken.

I have had several people ask if I would set up something for them to donate to make this transition a little easier. If you want to, this is here; if you can't, please do not feel obligated. We would love to fly my brother out again for the spreading of her ashes when the time comes.
