Summer Tina Marie Brooks Homegoing Celebration 

On Thursday, April 28th Summer Brooks arrived in her hometown Minneapolis, Minnesota from Florida, with every good intention to prepare for her mother’s funeral and visit family and friends. Unfortunately, life took a turn for the worst, and we now have to make arrangements for Summer’s funeral as well.
 
Summer was a bright, heartwarming, young woman. She graduated from North High with honors, and broke generational curses by leaving her hometown and attending Minnesota State University, Mankato. Summer graduated with her bachelor’s degree in biology, and later received her MBA. After graduating she relocated to Miami, Florida, to become a financial advisor with JP Morgan.
 
Summer genuinely enjoyed spending time with family and close friends. She loved baking, had a passion for art and liked to swim. Summer was an amazing, outgoing, sweet individual. She was beautiful, both inside and out. Summer was a kind-hearted, intelligent, independent woman making her way through life.
 
On Friday, April 29th, the family had plans to meet at the funeral home to finalize Summers' mother’s funeral arrangements. However, we were unable to reach Summer. We began to worry, as her mother’s funeral was her primary reason for visiting. It was also unlike Summer to miss such an important meeting. We began to reach out to the police but was informed we had to wait 72 hours to file a missing person report. With nowhere else to turn, the family did what was best by uploading a post to social media and asking for help from others to locate Summer. We began to receive valuable information on multiple platforms, but still there was no contact from Summer. After all the help and the numerous shares on Facebook regarding Summer’s location, we received tips that led authorities to the whereabouts of Summer Brooks. With all hope, the family received the devastating news that our beloved Summer Brooks had been found but was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, we’ve created this GoFundMe to solicit your support and collect donations for Summer to give her a proper burial, one she deserves.
