Dear friends, family, and caring neighbors,
Our hearts are heavy as we share that our dear friend Subin George Varghese was called home to the Lord on May 16, 2025, at 10:51 a.m., while under the gentle care of InterHealth Canada Hospital here in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Though we grieve, our faith assures us that Subin now rests in God’s eternal peace.
Many of you knew Subin’s kind smile, ready laughter, and unshakeable willingness to help anyone in need. Now we have an opportunity to offer the same generosity to him and his family.
Why we’re writing
Subin’s final wish, and the deepest desire of his wife and parents is that he be laid to rest in his hometown in Kerala, India. Fulfilling this wish requires transporting his body halfway across the world, a process that must begin very soon and involves:
• international mortuary preparation and permits
• specialized flight arrangements for the remains
• customs, documentation, and local transport in both countries
The total cost is estimated at USD $21,000—far beyond what his family can manage alone, especially in the midst of sudden loss.
How you can help
1. Give any amount you feel led to share. No gift is too small; every dollar moves us closer to the goal.
2. Share this appeal with friends, coworkers, and prayer groups who may wish to help.
3. Lift the family in prayer. Your spiritual support is as precious as any financial gift.
We have opened a dedicated fund (details below). All contributions will go directly toward the repatriation expenses; should gifts exceed the target, the remainder will help Subin’s wife cover immediate household needs during this hard time.
