Hello, my name is Ashley and I am creating this fundraiser for Shakir Ford on behalf of our son, Omari Ford. Shakir was found unexpectedly deceased in his home on June 27th, 2022. He was only 34 years old and leaves behind his son Omari who is extremely saddened by the sudden loss of his father, who is his hero. Due to Shakir's battle with his mental health he was unable to secure funds for this type of unforeseen circumstance let alone for his cost of daily living expenses during these difficult times. Shakir loved his family and friends but he loved his son more than anything else and Omari loved him beyond measure. I would like to provide the services that Shakir deserves to ensure that his spirit goes with God surrounded by loved ones to comfort his only son who is devastated by the tragic news. For those of you who knew Shakir know that he was kind, funny and loyal but was also so much more.
