Uncle Scott was well-loved by his many friends and family members, but especially by his beautiful wife Joy. Although they only got to spend 9 months as husband and wife, anyone who witnessed their relationship knew that Joy was the love of his life, and he was hers.

On May 15, 2026, Scott and Joy got news that no one ever wants to get. The pain that Scott had been having turned out to be lung cancer. They were optimistic and booked follow up tests and appointments to start to tackle the illness. Over the next two weeks, things started to deteriorate quickly. Test results started coming back with not great outcomes, and Scott ended up in the hospital as his pain increased and his body started to shut down. On May 30, surrounded by many friends and family, Scott passed away peacefully, only 15 days after being diagnosed.

As the friends and family of Joy and Scott, we are hoping to raise money to help with the funeral arrangements and other costs associated with losing a loved one.
