On Wednesday, September 10th at 3:08am, our worlds were forever changed with the unexpected passing of our beloved friend and family member, Miss Ruby Sanz. To know her is to love her. She was kind, fearless, bold, generous, and a spirit to have encountered. If you had the chance to meet her, you would remember her smile and gentle attitude. She was a GOD FEARING WOMAN. Her take on life was positive no matter the outcome. When talking with her, she would never fail to mention her daughter, Nicole. She carried her as her light endlessly and she was a source of her happiness and dedication to her role. Ruby was an amazing mother, sister, family member and friend who would give back with no reward. From migrating to America from the Philippines, everyone who encountered her knew it would be a life lasting friendship or motherly figure. During her tenure at Mann and Hummel, she met different people from all walks of life. All of which she considered her family away from home.

There aren't enough words to put into perspective of this devastating time. She managed to built a beautiful foundation for herself, and established many great relationships. Her life was taken so soon, but she was offered eternal healing by our Father in heaven. She leaves behind her daughter, Nicole. The Sanz and Daquioag family has been impacted deeply by this loss. We come asking for donations to help cover costs of service to help the family lay her to rest. Services for Ruby will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Greene Funeral Service’s South Chapel, 1503 South York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
