As many may already know, it is with deep sorrow in our hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother Bai Chang Khang. She left us too soon on December 27th, 2023 and she has taken a part of all of us with her.

Those that do know her, know that she’s been battling many health issues for a while now. Our mother was 56 years old when she passed and she was still very young. She gave birth to 10 of us, 7 boys and 3 girls. It was unfortunate that our parents separated while we were all so young. None the less, our mother stepped up to be half-father as well. She worked so hard to feed us all, to clothes us, and to put a roof over our heads. She’s made so many sacrifices so that we can live a better life than she did. Our mother was a fighter and she tried to find many ways to stay with us longer and to cure all of her illnesses. She so badly wanted to continue living to watch us all grow, to get married, and to have kids. It saddens all of us that she will no longer be able to see any of it.

Knowing that her time was coming, she has made some last few wishes for her funeral. We are trying our best to make those wishes come true but unfortunately, the Hmong traditional funerals are very costly and expensive. I’ve attached a link for those who would like to understand the Hmong traditional funerals better. All of the generous donations will go directly towards the funeral expenses so that we can make our mother’s last wishes come true. She deserves to have everything as she has always given us everything.
