Hi all,
My name is Britani and I am fundraising for the family of Alexander "Alex" to help with funeral expenses and to give anything we possibly can to his children that he left behind.
Alex was what I call "A Light of Sunshine". He always had a smile on his face and made everyone laugh that was around him. He was sweet, funny, caring and a loving father. Unfortunately, 2/16/24 he took his last breath and we are all saddened and devastated that he is gone so soon and unexpectedly.
Alex was a son, a brother, a friend, a lover and a father. The many people in his life will truly miss him.
We like to personally thank every single person that donates from the bottom of our hearts, this was very sudden and anything will help towards this tragic time.
Alex's Funeral services are 2/27 @ 11am.
Alex's Obituary...
Alexander L. Gass, age 35, of Hanover, Pa, entered in to God's eternal care on February 16, 2024. He was born on October 6, 1988 to David L. and Eileen L. (Keffer) Gass. Alex was preceded in death by his father David L. Gass, along with both of his paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents. He is survived by his son Francis Lee Gass, age six of Hanover PA, daughter Charleigh E. Sleighter age 8 of Marcus Hook PA, his mother Eileen L.(Keffer) Gass of Hanover, Sister Jessica L Dubs (Gass) and husband Shawn (niece Courtney L Dubs) of Hanover, brother Matthew J David Gass and Wife Tracie (nieces Emma L and Maddie J Gass) of North Dakota, and an abundance of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alex graduated from Hanover Senior High school in 2007 and moved to North Dakota, taking on farming and enjoying coaching wrestling alongside his brother. After moving back to Hanover, he was a man of many trades....working as a pool tech and a restaurant manager. Most recently he worked for Diamondback Signal as a railroad tech. When Alex was in school, his family enjoyed cheering him on through both wrestling and football seasons. Although he enjoyed making others laugh, he had a tender heart and loved deeply. Alex enjoyed fishing and swimming any chance he got. Most of all, he longed for the times he could wrestle with Frankie or play in a creek with Charleigh. Just being with his children made his heart happy.
Alex was raised to love the Lord and now walks the streets of gold. Our memories of Alex will be cherished forever, and his legacy will live on in his children.
We Love and Miss You Alex.....
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit of his story, we surely appreciate it!
