Surrounded by loved ones, Daniel Kakozi was called home suddenly on Tuesday April 14th, 2026 at the age of five years old. Son of Janet Masoka, beloved brother to Steven, Sada, Samuel, and Sarah Kakozi.

A student in Ms. Scarrow’s Kindergarten class at Suddaby Public School, Daniel was a kind, energetic, creative, and curious student. He liked to build with the small soft blocks, and could often be found making a castle, playing tag, soccer, or climbing the play structure outside with his friends. Daniel was a beloved Suddaby Star, and his loss touches the entire community.

Having immigrated to Canada in 2019, the family is facing this difficult time with limited local support around them. This page has been set up to help cover some of the funeral costs and to support Daniel’s family during this incredibly difficult time.
