My name is Jessica Roman, class of '23, social work major, Skidmore graduate.

Friday morning, Jan 5th, 2023, I received the devastating news that my dear mother, Nilsa Roman had passed away. It is a difficult aspect of life to process, but I must say that she was the most selfless and loving individual you would've ever met. She treated everyone she met as one of their children. More importantly, she was my personalized cheerleader and supporter for anything and everything I wanted to accomplish. I love and will miss her dearly.
