I’m the nephew of Maureen Buckley of Spruce Head, Maine. Maureen died on Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 after a three year long battle with cancer. She was only 64 years old.

Maureen loved Maine and her family more than anything else. She counted herself blessed to have a home by the water and she relished the quality time spent with family and friends who came to visit her spot on the ocean.

To honor that love, Maureen has asked that in lieu of any flowers, donations be made to the Spruce Head Community Hall and Historical Association. As they are a small organization without other online donation sites, we will be collecting donations here and sending them to SHCH directly.

There will be a small private ceremony for family in the spring. We are hoping to have all donations by April 11th. Thank you for your donation in memory of Maureen / Auntie Mo.
