Mathew McGarity was living his dream, working as a minor, was in the process of purchasing his first home and starting his farm lifestyle, but at only 28 years young, he was called home to be with his best friend Blu, and his grandparents who wrapped their wings around him on the morning of February 7, 2023.

He was born August 18, 1995, born and raised in Sacramento, CA where he spent his childhood playing football and making lifelong friends.

The family relocated in 2011 where Mathew planted his roots in Portola, CA. He leaves behind his parents, Tiffany Smythe & Billy McGarity. His siblings, Louis Ruiz, Zachary McGarity, Kayla Ruiz, Mercedes McGarity, Breanna McGarity, Derick Schwartz, and Brandon McGarity. His beautiful wife, Brittany Bradley(McGarity), whom he was building his life and living out his dreams with. His beautiful and most prized human beings on this earth, Olivia, Jocelyn and his baby boy Waylon Shay. He also leaves behind his nephews Xavier, Andrew, Eric, A.J., and Louis V as well as his niece Zaltana.

His passing has hit our family hard being so unexpected and him being so young, so we ask if anyone can help us raise the money to bring him home we would be over the moon with appreciation.
