We are heartbroken to hear the sudden passing of our dearest family member mother/sister/aunty/friend Mary Low, who passed away at Cairns Hospital on Wednesday 23 July, after being unwell for some time.

We are setting this up for Michael, Simmone and the grandkids as they navigate this difficult time, so we are reaching out to the larger extended family and close friends for support to help cover the funeral / burial / administrative and other unexpected costs.

All of us who knew Aunty Mary loved her fully, just as Aunty Mary loved us all fully- as the youngest of 5 siblings and being the joyful, fun-loving, humble, kind and utmost caring mother, aunty and friend to everyone she met, she encouraged and embraced us all with her warmth, hospitality and big heart. She had a zest for life, a sparkle in her eyes and cheeky sense of humour, whilst still being in her gentle, gracious way. She had a vibrancy and optimism that left you feeling topped up with love whenever you went to visit her in Cairns (or when she came to visit you) . Her loss has left a deep void in our lives, and we want to honour them in a way that reflects the love and light they brought into the world.
