Mark was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on 13th November 2025 when he was in Thailand, and was told he had 3 months to live. By the time he flew back to the UK in December there was little that could be done to help him other than to make him comfortable. Mark passed away peacefully on 1st February 2026.

Mark was loved by so many people. He was a legend. He never took life too seriously and made us all laugh. He always looked out for others. Even in his final days, he was more concerned about others around him rather than himself. He will be forever missed by all.

Mark's funeral will be held at Woking crematorium on 11th March 2026 at 11AM. This Go Fund Me had been set up in response to those who have kindly offered to donate towards Mark's funeral expenses. All donations will be greatly appreciated. We will provide more details of Mark's funeral in due course.
