My name is Kenneth Wright, we are heading up a fundraiser for my Aunt Iretha M. Smith (aka Josie), homegoing service to be scheduled soon.

For those who knew Josie and are wondering or have not yet heard of the cause of her passing. She was born on June 12th, 1953, and at the ripe young age of 70 lost her battle to esophageal cancer on March 17th, 2024. She was diagnosed early January of this year, and her wishes were to only share it with a couple of people, so please don't hold that against her in your hearts.

I've always remembered my aunt for how beautiful, and vibrant she was and how animated with laughter and warm smiles of love and happiness she showed me, family, friends and many more whenever you met her. We all have our own memorable moments of her, but I can assure you in her last couple of days she carried that same "Ener-G" of laughter, love, joy and happiness all the way through her transition!
