On the evening of Wednesday October 11th tragedy struck. Our son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, 21yr old Joshua Mefford was taken from us. We are still trying to process the details of how this happened. But he passed away on Thursday October 12th around 1 pm after being kept on life support for nearly 14 hours allowing family to say goodbye.

Joshua was such a sweet spirit once you knew him. He had a tough outer shell but a heart like few others. He will be missed and our hearts are broken for him and his family and friends.

As you can imagine, no one was prepared for this kind of situation, especially Josh’s parents and family. This includes the financial costs associated with the attempted life saving measures that were taken and the coming costs to be incurred with memorial and funeral arrangements. We know Josh’s family will be grateful for any help that can be offered to help them while grieving this horrific event.
