Hello everyone. My name is Jessica and I lost my husband Jayme to complications of congestive heart failure. He was 49 years old. He had a congenital heart defect that affected him every day of his life. He fought hard, but his body was tired. He had been hospitalized 13 times since May 2025. His liver and kidneys were failing, and he was consistently in Afib. The medical staff was wonderful and very kind to both of us. I was thankful to have been with him when he passed.
He leaves behind his wife, a 19-year-old daughter, and three very spoiled cats. He was a wonderful spirit who just had a rough go of life. We pray that now he is happy and free of pain, injury, or illness.
As I’ve been telling people about Jayme’s passing, so many people were shocked. He never shared how sick he really was with anyone else. Everyone I’ve spoken to has expressed love and affection for Jayme and his part in their lives. I’m so thankful for this! I’ve also been encouraged by many to start a GoFundMe to help offset his funeral expenses. We literally moved into a new apartment last week, and I didn’t anticipate losing my husband so soon. We could use some financial help. Even if you donate $5, it would help. Hopefully, no one is offended by this, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. I want to give him the celebration he deserves, in addition to the cost of his cremation, urn, and all of the other costs that come with a funeral. Of course, he didn’t have any life insurance. He was too sick to qualify.
We are planning his memorial for 10/18/25. Anyone is welcome to come. I will update this page with venue info and times, etc., as soon as I can. This GoFundMe will also determine where I can afford to have the memorial.
Please reach out if you like. My email is [email redacted]. Also, I’m collecting pictures of Jayme for collages I am going to make for the memorial, so if you have any, please email them to me.
Thank you for your kindness. God bless you all.
Jessica & Bella
