I am fundraising for the medical, funeral, and living costs for Javin Odegard and his family. Javin was killed after being struck by a car while doing what he loved most, riding his bike.
For those that knew him, you know how kind of a soul and an uplifting person Javin was. Nobody made you feel more welcome while also telling you about an obscure Norwegian metal band that you’ve never heard of.
For those that did not, Javin was a metal head, bike lover, food enjoyer, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He loved to travel and enthusiastically enjoyed learning about other cultures. He loved to take his tortoise on walks in their matching Adidas outfits. A true Denver native, he loved this city and the people in it.
I was a close friend of Javin, and am fundraising on behalf of his family. All funds will go to Javin’s sister, Lavita. These funds will help cover the medical expenses, funeral costs, and continued support for his father and sister he leaves behind. Any support is greatly appreciated.
