Donate in Memory of Jason Smith, Div. 383, VLC

Dear friends and family of Jason M. Smith,

On July 28th, 2021, we lost a brother in a tragic accident. Jason’s parents lost a son. His wife Heidi and sons Jesse and Mickey lost a soulmate and Dad.

Smitty was a hard-working, caring man who always put his family first, and was always willing to help those in need. Smitty also served his Railroad family as an Engineer, and devoted most of his career as a Union Officer for BLET, Division 383. Now, we have an opportunity to help serve his family.

Due to the overwhelming number of heartfelt messages wanting to help the family, we set up this fund to help his loved ones navigate this tragedy as they learn to move forward with life.

It was not Smitty’s style to ask for help in this way. At the same time, he would do anything for his family. If he knew the love and support in the hearts of people that want the best for his wife and kids, he would gladly accept your act of kindness.

All donations will go directly to his wife and sons to help with end-of-life costs and future college expenses.
