Hi. My name Sara. I am Jay’s stepmom and am setting up this GoFundMe for Jay’s family during this horrific time. His mother April Burnette, and father Brian Haywood would appreciate donations of any size to relieve some of the financial burden of not only the funeral, but the expense of shipping his remains from California, back home to North Carolina. Jay was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, stepson, and friend to many. His smile was contagious, and a personality that was magnetic. His love ran deep, especially for his father, mother, grandmother, and siblings.
