A scholarship in honor of Isadora “Izzy” Catania has been created by her family at the Hamilton Central School.

The award will go to a graduating senior who exemplifies kindness, compassion and acceptance towards others, especially in the areas of academics, agriculture, art and/or athletics. These were the 4 A’s that Izzy embraced with a passion.

Donations may be made through GoFundMe or mailed directly to Hamilton Central School, 47 W Kendrick Ave, Hamilton, NY 13346. Please write “Izzy” in the memo line.

100% of GoFundMe funds will be donated to Izzy’s scholarship fund and any extra money will provide support to students during this difficult time through the school’s SEL program (social emotional learning).

Our aim is to award $1,000 a year to a deserving student. If our goal is exceeded we will increase the amount of the scholarship or increase the number of recipients per year.
