My uncle, Guetatchew Fikru, passed away on September 6 in a hospital in Las Vegas after being diagnosed with a terminal illness. It has been shocking to us that he died so quickly. Guetatchew was such a loving and fun person that everybody loved.

After returning from his trip to Ethiopia, my uncle was struggling with his health situation and visiting the hospital quite often because of kidney issues. He was undergoing a therapy and his condition was deteriorating every single day. The death of Guetatchew is a great loss for the family. Guetatchew is survived by his son Nico and daughter Arsema.
