Funeral for Gilbert Moya

Dear family and friends:

I am writing to you today to let you know about the loss of my cousin, Gilbert Moya. He passed away at his home on December 16, 2023. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Patsy) Moya, father of Renee Moya, David Moya (deceased), and Nicholas Moya (Vanessa). He is also survived by brother Elfigo Moya (Evangelina) and sister Frances (Pancha) Garcia (Frankie). He had 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Gilbert lived in Valencia, New Mexico with his wife of 41 years, Patricia (Patsy) Moya. Patricia had a fall in June 2021 that led to an Aneurysm and later a stroke which kept her hospitalized for 7 months. She is still unable to walk and Gilbert was her primary caregiver.

The funeral service will be held at Romero’s Funeral Home, in Belen, New Mexico. Date and time to be determined.

We are absolutely devastated by Gilbert’s passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service.
