Help Honor Carl "Doug/Pork" Cook's Legacy

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are heartbroken to share the unexpected loss of Carl D. Cook, lovingly known as “Doug” or “Pork” to many. Doug was a pillar of kindness and generosity, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. As a dedicated worker for a construction company, he poured his heart into his work and touched countless lives with his warm spirit and willingness to help others.

Tragically, Doug passed away without life insurance, leaving his family with the heavy burden of funeral expenses. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we’ve already received $6,100 toward these costs. However, we still need $3,381 to fully cover the funeral and give Doug the respectful farewell he deserves. Our goal of $4000 is so any expenses or fees taken from gofundme will not interfere with the total needed to cover the rest of the funeral.

We are reaching out to ask for your support to help ease the financial strain on the Cook family during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering the remaining funeral expenses. If we are blessed to receive more than needed, any extra funds will be used to purchase a headstone.
