It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden passing of DeAndre Stokes. He was not only a beloved son and best friend, but truly one of the kindest souls to walk this earth. DeAndre filled every room he entered with an undeniable joy. He loved his mother more than life itself and poured into those around him selflessly. He acted as a support system to those closest to him and filled my life, and those around him, with so much love. He will forever live in our hearts as he watches over us.

Kathie, DeAndre's mom, has already carried more than her share of heartache these past few years. On top of her grief, she’s now facing the financial burden of funeral costs. If you can help in any way, please donate. If you can’t, sharing this link would still mean so much.

Most of all, please hug the people you love a little tighter today. DeAndre gave us 35 amazing years, and though he’s gone too soon, he’ll live forever in our memories.

Update: Services will be held at rising star missionary Baptist church on Oct 10th at 12. All are welcome to attend. You are encouraged to wear purple in his honor. Please contact me if you have any questions
