Hi, my name is Erice and I'm fundraising to help cover the cost of funeral services for Courtney Simon. I work with his wife Antonishia Simon, who has been absolutely devastated by the untimely passing of her husband on Monday, 11/27/2023. To make matters worse, their insurance company has denied benefits to cover the cost of the funeral and burial services. Courtney was a Disabled Veteran and he leaves behind his wife and 11 year old son, Ja'Courtney. And of course, since the insurance company denied coverage, the cost of the funeral and burial services are all out of pocket. Since Courtney and Antonishia are both from Ville Platte, Louisiana, there will be a viewing at J.M. Wilkerson Funeral Home, 102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803 on Sunday 12/10/2023 (2-5pm) and then there will be a service and burial in Louisiana. The cost for the services is $13,500.00. Antonishia and Ja'Courtney will travel to Louisiana for the services there. The travel expenses are proving to be quite costly as well. Efforts to find the best airline tickets are still on going. All donations will be greatly appreciated as the funeral costs must be paid by Wednesday, 12/06/2023. Thank you!!
